The Assistant Chief Engineer assist the Engineering Manager to ensure effective operations in the Hotels. She/He handles air-condition, plumbing and sanitation, electrical high tension and low tension system, mechanical equipment, fire protection and life safety, vertical transportation, boiler, generator, kitchen equipment and any other related sub-system to ensure good operating condition. She/He is able to plan, coordinate, and execute Preventive Maintenance program. She/He does budget planning, utilities, manpower resources, process defining and machine operation standard. She/He also looks into staff training and development, human resource and performance management. She/He builds partnership with other departments to improve better working relationship and to meet the internal and external customer satisfaction. She/He covers the duties of the Engineering Manager in her/his absence.
