	Position Description: Are you passionate about guest service and enjoy working flexible shifts? REQUIREMENTS: Ø Experience in a hotel or related field or high school diploma preferred. Ø Must have a valid driver’s license for the applicable state. Ø Long hours sometimes may be required. Ø Heavy work – Exerting up to 1000 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Ø Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly. Ø Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately. Ø Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations. Ø Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure. JOB DUTIES: Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Fairmont Standards, as required by scheduling which will Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and nametag while working. Comply at all times with Fairmont standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations. Greet guest in a pleasant manner Load and unload carts Escort guests to rooms, explain amenities and safety procedures Check/ store luggage for arrivals and departures Deliver messages to meeting rooms Deliver flowers and packages to guest rooms Complete room changes Give directions Open doors Location The Fairmont Copley Plaza Boston
